Core Islam 1.0 (kitab al-duwari).
Islam, is one, of the larger, religions, in the world; but surprisingly enough, most out there, know, nothing much, about it. Even some, of its practitioners, take time, to give, an answer, when asked, about, Islam. Interestingly enough though, despite, Islam, being one, of the, largest, religions, in the world, many still, appear, to be, highful, distrustful, of it, and are, even, willing, to give, felonious cults, a try and chance, believing them, to be, atleast, truthful, in one way, or another. Islam, on the otherhand, is often, considered, to be, evil itself manifest, and many, even, consider, true genuine evil, to be, somewhat, misunderstood. Anything really, Christianity, Barbarity, Evil, over Islam.
Islam though, is a, very small, part, of the universe, that consists, of the Middle East. The Islamic world, as a, cultural complex, is really, divided, into, four spheres. Three are known, and one, still, really not. The four spheres, are really, Islam, Sharia, Sufism, and what, you might call, the Next Big thing. However, one must know, that these, four spheres, are each, divided, into two, main parts: an Arts part, and a Science part. The Arts part, are relatively, unknown, to many [but still known], while, the Science part, is more or less, heavily studied. The Arts parts, originated rather obviously, before, the Science parts. With regards, to Islam, at its core [Arts part], is a highly, refined, general Islamic culture, based on, quality, quantity, and substance. Very materially oriented, and about, refinement. With Sharia, at its cultural basis, is a culture, of, philosophic talks, of all kinds; from sheesheh based discussions, to teachings, in madarassas. With Sufism, its Arts part, is a culture, totally based, on, the Sufi Order, of the Whirling dervishes; a culture, that is generally, very Dance oriented [Dance is the main Artform seen in the Middle East], and giving rise, to many, of the dances, and music, associated, with Sufi practise. You also, have the Next Big thing, whose Arts basis, has not yet, really, been defined, but one, can probably, say, there is, someone, out there, working, on it, at the moment. However, when it comes, to the Science part, of all this, you find that, they are all based, on the human soul. The soul, is at the basis, of what, totally constitutes, Islamic religious science. Islam, as a Science, and based, on the soul, is totally centered, around, the Qur'an. And the Qur'an, is a heavily, misunderstood book, as many, simply, consider it, to be a book, on Islamic culture. In reality though, the Qur'an, is a book, that teaches one, how, to think really, in helping, create, modes, of reality; its really, rather, psychological, in nature, and helps one, not only see, the world, as it is, but helps one, create too, a social universe, that works. Sharia too, is a Science, based, on the soul, and an advancement, from, Islamic philosophic talk. You too have, the Sufi order, of Qadiri, which is too, based, on the human soul, and an advancement, from the Art based, Sufi Order, of the, Whirling Dervishes, and developed, based, on the teachings, of Rumi [Rumi is one step, after, the Whirling Dervishes]. You finally, have, the Next Big thing, whose Science, is yet, to be really, thought up, but will, be based, on the soul too.
That somewhat, concludes, Islamic culture, as it is, rather known, today. However, it gets more, complicated. With Islam, as a Science, you too have, the sayings, of the Prophet, often referred to as, the Al-Hadith. The Al-Hadith, are somewhat, misunderstood, by some, as they, do not seem, to fit well, into, the, Islamic universe, as explained, above. This is really, because, the Al-Hadith, are actually, based, on, another, spiritual part, of the, human body: the Eros force. The Eros force, once defined, by Jung [Carl Jung], is that, spiritual part of us, associated, with our, conscience. Deeply knowing, right from wrong. The Eros force, is also, very much, associated, with the, body fluids, in our bodies: adrenaline, endorphines, testosterone, and the likes. What the Al-Hadith do, is very much, transform us, mentally, emotionally, and physically too, to become, different kinds, of human beings; human beings, who, by nature, are always, positive minded. People, with lots, of endorphines, are generally, more, positive minded, than those, with less of it. The transformation, can be, drastic, making one, at the very least, a human, who can, only subsist, in a world, of quality and substance. Sharia as mentioned, is totally, based, on the soul, but can, be expanded, to be based, on the Eros force too. So too, for Sufism, and the Next Big thing. Sufism, of all, the Islamic religious sciences, has expanded, the most. There are 4, major, Sufi Orders [Science based], out there, and the Qadiri order, is really, Sufism, as a Science, and based, on the Soul. However, you have, three, other orders, not well, understood, by some, believing them, to be, breakaways, from the, Qadiri order. You have, the Naqshabandi order, for instance, which unknown, to many, is really, a mix, of Sufism, and Sharia, and totally too, based on, the Soul. The Soharwardi Order, is actually, Sufism, and Islam, put together, as based, on the human soul. What this means really, when Sufism, meets Islam, is that, its Sufism, as a social based, problem solving tool. Sufism and Sharia, is really, very much, a legal tool, dealing with, enforcing, the law. You finally have, the Chisti order, which is actually, Sufism, mixed with, the Next Big thing, surprisingly enough [not well developed though]. As one, can see, its a rather, complicated, universe, so far, only based, on one, spiritual human part: the Soul. Islam, can be mixed, with Sharia, to create, a more or less, individually regulated law system; the individual, as the law, metting out, justice, as they see it fit. The ability to kill, if one feels, totally wronged [with no remorse]. A somewhat crazy world, some might believe. You too have, Islam, mixed with, Sufism, which is, very much, about, self-independent rule [total individual self-existence]. It gets really complicated, this way.
There is also, a part, of Islam, and Sufism, based on, another, spiritual part, of the human body; the Speech. Speech, is really, all about, developing, depth, in the way, one talks, or basically, sees things. Total analysis, of things, and attempting, to see things, from all, perspectives. With Islam, this part, of Islam, is based on, the various, Arabic dialects, that exist. Dialects really, that help one, become, a really, deep thinker. Pure speech, uncontaminated, with nonsensities. You also have, a part, of Sufism, based on, the Speech, and is actually, associated, with the various, dialects, of Swahili. Swahili, is a really good language, for learning, to see, the internals, of any, social based individual problem. Social based here, really means, as affecting, the Soul.
One must realize too, that previously, Islam, Sharia, and Sufism, were presented, very much, as religions. This is true, but not, from a, Science based perspective. Islam, Sharia, and Sufism, are really religions, from an, Art based perspective. Islam, as a religion, is all about, knowing, refinement. Sharia, as a religion, is really based on, being, an intelligent thinker/philosopher [investigator too], Madarasa style. You also very much, have, a culture, based on, the Purpose Driven life, and associated, with Sufism, and is all about, going out, to nature [the desert or sea], and simply, attempting, to see, into ones, future, with Sufi music, as a driver. A kind of Shamanism, as Sufi music, is very, trance like, in nature.
At the core, of all this, uniting, all the above, described, Arts practises, is Islamic Mysticism. Islam, Sharia, Sufism, at the core, as Arts based, practises, are actually, derived, from, Islamic mysticism. Islamic mysticism, is rather old, predating, Prophet Mohammed. Islamic Mysticism, very much, described, a magical world, where, the strangest of things, happen. This world, was actually, based, traditionally, on pygmy culture [the Ancient Egyptians had contact (religious in nature), with the pygmies, via Nubia, and this contact, continued on, to the Middle East, when some, Egyptians, settled there]. Many of these, pygmies, were seen, in Oman. It is here too, that Americanisas [Legion], make, an impact, on Islamic culture, as some, of the tales, associated, with Islamic Mysticism, were written, by Americanistas [Legion], and based, on their study, of, pygmy/khoikhoi cultures, and the magical realities, of, Africas Nature. The Art based practises, of the Next Big thing, will be based on, Asceticism. The world, of Islamic Mysticism, is a rather, strange, and unstable world, where, all sorts, of crazy things, simply, or just, happen.
And while, Islamic Mysticism, unites, the Islamic world, you very much find though, that, Islam, Sufism, Sharia, and even, the Next Big thing,very much, have a home, in the lower, Middle East. Oman, is the home, of Islam [the Prophet came from Oman]. The UAE [United Arab Emirates], is the home, of Sufism. Saudi Arabia, is the home, of Sharia; and it therefore gathers too, that, the Next Big thing, will need, a home, of its own [Saudi, is rather big, and a part, of it, can be cut off, for the Next Big thing]. [I gather, it will not be, too difficult, to start, a whole new country, based on, Asceticism].
Finally though, there is a part, of the, Islamic, religious tradition, most, don't really know, much about, and is, very much, associated, with the worship, of the Supreme Being. This religious tradition, is simply known, as, Islamic [rather than Islam]. It is, a tradition, based wholly, on literature/tales, and tells, the tales, of Islamic Heroes, such as, Sinbad, and Antares, from a, religious, point of view. Islamic, is very much, based on, order, and problem solving too. The Prophet Mohammed, was actually, Islamic, and most, Americanistas [Legion], are actually, Islamic too. Islamic really, is all about, living, life, like many, of the old, Islamic Heroes, and Legends, out there. These tales, were also, originally, based on, pygmy culture [written even by pygmies] [the so called, history, of eunuchs, in the Islamic world, is really, about, pygmies, as kind of clerics]. Those, who are, Islamic, are very much, clerical, in nature, and their job, is simply, to create, order, in their worlds. Islamics, are what, are truly needed, to enforce, peace, in Israel, as they know, much, about, religious order, which is what, is really needed, in the, Middle East/Israel. Sinbad or Antares, are what, are needed, for the, Middle East peace process, and not, diplomats, as Middle Easterners, can sometimes, get crazy, and the whole, situation, can easily go, Meatloaf, rather fast.
One must remember though, that while all this, seems, grandiose, in nature, the Middle East, in general, and the, Islamic world, in particular, have had, a too long, fixation, on, Prophet Mohammed, and have, somewhat, been, reluctant, to advance, from his teachings. The Prophet, simply, began, a small part, of what, the Islamic universe, could very much, be like, and I gather, he would not, be, too impressed, to return, and find folks, still, debating, his teachings.
