The History of Spain, is one, that, is often, heavily, debated upon, due really, to, the multiples, of peoples, that, have often, inhabited, the Land. The fact too, that, Spain, is also, associated with, some, mystic like Knowledge, as probably, seen, in, the DaVinci Code movies.
The true History of Spain, is rather, longstanding, and, going back, to, Moses, and his crossing really, of, the 'Red Sea' (the Rock of Gibraltar). To understand, the History of Spain better, is to, know of it, as, the History, of, attempts really, to, become, Accustomed, Acculturated, and, Acclimatized even, to, the region/Land itself (the quest for this, leading in all, to, melting pot like existences, as with, Cultural Development really).
In many ways though, it is, the, stealing, of, Islamic Spain history (by the British really), that in many ways, makes, the History of Spain, of, great interest, to some (if not many). The peoples, who have settled/influenced, Spain, have been, many. You have those, coming in, from, Egypt (as Slaves), and came, to be known, as, Catalans. You also have, the more, recent, Iberian Peninsula group, and, European groups too (Aragon/Byzantine, and, Castilian). There is however, also, Islamic Spain (Al-Andalus - and, their practise, of Islamic Art, in the form really, of, what, they call, Basque Art). You however, have, another, final group, known as, Cordoba (and part, of, Islamic Spain really), and popularly (as with, history really), referred to, as, Spanish (Spaniard, on the otherhand, refers to, European Spain).
It is, with, the Spanish, that, the British, take, an interest, in, the History of Spain, as, with the, belief really, they possessed, 'Secret Knowledge', that, would help them in all, rule over (even the World) [Islamic Spain, as with, Al-Andalus, is totally, based, on, the 5 Pillars of Islam, and in many ways too, a, continuation, o,f Byzantine Aragon Spain, as with, Basque Art really]. The History of Cordoba, on the other hand, while, rather Islamic in all, is also too, rather, strongly, Arthurian in all. It is a History, that originates, with, Briton Celt Figures, moving, to Spain, to create, civilization there (as mainly, with, Persona Development).
