One, for modesty,
the other, for slight;
One betrothed, to Echo,
the other, beknown, to Jezebel
Both, a side, to each other,
both, unrecognizable, in sight;
Neither, an opposite, or, a negative,
but, a dual, unseen, in flight;
For Echo, Narcissus, is Love, at first, sight,
But, to Jezebel, death, a repose, to slight;
And, echos tremor, to trappings, in thought,
as Narcissus, bemoans, the death, of his modesty, in sight;
And, to Pluto, fear reigns, in sight,
as unknown, slights, modesty, does perturb;
To each, is horror, neither, each, conceived;
to be, born, gifted, in chance,
but, of recourse, to Love, does injury, slight;
Echo, and Jezebel, unknown, in flight,
each, preys, alike, in pride;
One is, for death, in sight,
the other, for sight, in death;
To Pluto, life reigns, in heights,
for Narcissus, heights, reigned, by life;
To be, a dual, fraught, with fright,
neither, conceives, each other, alike;
