The Greeks

Let me tell you, a tale, of two brothers,
from the Land, of Egypt, or as the Greeks, called it, Aegyptus.

Two brothers, who chose, to forsake, the way of life,
of Egypt, the Pharaohs, Imhotep, had chosen, to in all, create, envision;
a way of Life, held, in envy, by others, for others, in magnificence,
but for these, two brothers, Life, was in knowing, oneself,
as human, and not, living god.

Two brothers, who it is said, landed, on Greece,
in search, of beginnings, to in all, live, of life, driven, in the search, and need,
for experience, of Compassion & Love, in their greatest depths;
A life, that the gods, no longer, sought out,
but instead, sought, to in all, seek out, in understanding.

They sought, to create, a world, of the greatest freedom,
known to man, of the greatest heights, known to their minds;

Greece, was born, with the greatest desire, to experience Life,
by forsaking, knowledge [and the gods], and seeking, to experience, the very depths,
of, human, emotions, as a way, of seeking, of understanding.

They sought, to overcome, the limits, of the human spirit,
and while, the Egyptians, sought, to become, as living gods, are, and the Romans, in self-conquest, as such,
the Greeks, in all, did choose, chose, to become, as said, very much, as living spirits.

Greece, was born, of one, single precipice: Pity; and while, the Egyptians,
with the help, of Jehovah, sought, to overcome, Vanity, and the Romans, seeking,
to forment, beliefs, against, Self-Pity, the Greeks, in the face, of the greatest, adversities,
and the greatest, of depths, in Pity, believed, in one, and only one, adage:
Omnia Vincit Amor (Love Conquers All);

Greece, was built, on the basis, of a belief system, based on, in Postulation, on Conscience;
and while, the Egyptians, defined themselves, by their, Religious practises,
and the Romans, by their, Laws, the Greeks, very much, saw themselves,
as three things: God, Muse, and Will;

And as living gods, the Egyptians, believed, in developing, Morality, to its highest levels,
and the Romans, seeking, to be the most, intelligent, of beings, and believing, in being,
highly Righteous, the Greeks, sought, instead, to develop, the Will, by overcoming, the greatest,
of obstacles;

Egyptian life, was heavily defined, by its practises, and made, for a magical universe,
where man, sought, to directly manipulate, his environment, as living deity;
the Romans, on the otherhand, lived, in a world, of principles, and in many ways,
giving birth, to modern mathematics, and its applications [Law], to the world;
But it was, with the Greeks, that Thought, was born, and from a few, postulates,
civilization, as it is conceived today, via the Sciences, was born to;

And while, The Gods, directly favoured, the Egyptians, in intelligence and might,
and the Romans, sought, to overcome, the limitations, of the mind, via intelligence,
it was, the Greeks, as Muses, that sought, to dare, and dream up, the impossible,
and attempt, to make it, real;

Plato, Socrates, Aristotle, Seneca, Herodotus, Homer, Pythagoras, Archimedes, are a few,
of the names, of Greeks, as Muses, who dared, to dream up, universes, and worlds,
based on a, few postulates, and attempt, to make them real;

Greece, as civilization, and born of, Pity, had its roots, in believers, to its ideals;
and while, Egypt, was closed off, to those, who were not, of Egyptian blood,
and the Romans, sought, to spread, civilization, by conquest,
the Greeks, welcomed, each and all, who believed, in their way of life, to settle, in Greece:
and they came, from afar, as Mesopotamia [to be sons of Troy], and even, Egypt itself [and Spartans, they made for].

The Romans, driven, by Self-Pity, truly defined, Patriotism:
but it was the Greeks, driven, by Pity, who truly, lived it out;
Marches across the Globe;
Invasions, in Trojan horses;
600 men, against, a million, Persians [a myth, never truly, lived out],
and the launching, of a thousand ships, against, enemies, who swore,
to wipe out, Greece, from the face, of the Earth [every Greek, for Greece].

To fully understand, the Greeks, is to fully know, their way of life;
that they chose, to live Life, free, of all, or most, restrictions, that other,
civilizations, have faced: Egyptian, Roman, European, and American.

And while, the Egyptians, and Romans, lived a Life, heavily geared,
around the clock, and time, the Greeks though, chose, to escape, the limits,
of time itself. The Egyptians, heavily believed, in family, and its unity [via celebrations, gatherings, and the likes], while the Romans, heavily believed, in living, a religious family life [as somewhat defined, today], the Greeks though, sought, to believe, in Wisdom, as a way,
of overcoming, time itself, as espoused, via, the main belief, in being, Healthy, Wealthy, and Wise;

And while, the Romans, sought, to defend, their great wealths, and riches, made and garnered,
against enemies, who would seek, to plunder it, or even, take over it, the Greeks, on the otherhand, sought, to defend, their Freedom, Liberty and Life, against those, who sought,
to destroy them, driven, by the greatest, of envies, and hates.

And while, the Europeans, seeking to live, the greatest, of lives, by attempting,
to uncover, the deep secrets, of the world, and seek fame, by seeking out, an education,
guidance, assistance, and investments, of all kinds, it was the Greeks, who desired, to fully,
understand, the nature, of the world, we live in, by being, muses, and living out, life, as Geniuses,
seeking understanding, from experience, and their, emotions, to very much discover, what the Gods, knew hidden, as believed, to be, the mystery, and nature, of Life itself.

And while, the Americans, believed, in building, the Grandest, of Civilizations, based, in belief,
of one, single value: self-determination, and the search, for laws, to guide them, in their hopes,
the Greeks, sought to be, the Greatest, of People, by seeking out, hopes, made, from the greatest, depths, of Pity, and the highest, of wills [and self-determination], and the search, for the greatest, levels, of faith, as guided, by the Gods themselves, from above, with such great fervour, and need, that the Gods themselves, sought, to abandon, the heavens, and settle, in Greece itself.

The greatest of faiths, was needed, in overcoming [not the laws, of man, or nature], but their beliefs, that anything, the mind, or heart, envisioned, could be made, true; Such fervour, made for, the, holiest of beings [and most capable], for those, who believed, Greece, to be a Land, only, of, Bronze Gods, Blondie Goddesses, and Titans.

In all, as summary to it really, the Egyptians, driven, by Destiny, sought, to reach,
the greatest, of heights, in self achievement, and the Romans, sought, to escape, Karma,
by climbing, to the greatest of heights, the Greeks, sought, to escape, Fate itself, by defying,
the constricts, of Time itself.

Many today, driven, by desperation, have given up, on Life itself,
believing, that no guidance, or assistance lays available; or that the laws, of man and nature,
cannot, be beaten; or even, that certain, riches, are truly, beyond, their reach,
or truly even, that their, very own, family, conspires, against them;

For many, who live, in these, mental prisons, and believe them, to be, true [as they surely can be], let me make them, aware, of a legacy, left behind, by the Greeks;

A Legacy, that believes at heart, that, what one speaks [and believes], is truly manifestable,
as words, do create, reality, when spoken, in a logically, sound manner.
That true belief, lies, at its heart, in the words, one holds dear, and the words,
one speaks out, with the firmest, of beliefs; that while, others, have wielded, certain weapons,
such as, knowledge [secret even & as, with, the Egyptians], organization [as with the Romans],
investment in study [as with the Europeans], the greatest weapon, ever wielded, by the Greeks,
was not, a Spartan spear, or a Trojan sword, but the Greek language, in itself.

A language, so wonderful, in creation, that those, who truly, understood it, could create,
any world, or universe, by spewing out, words, and sentences, that were, logically sound. For those, truly defeated, by life, and seek, to find a way, to dignity itself, then, let me ask you, to hear me out, that, you hold, the following words [Greek], dear, to your heart:

Valour, boldness, pity, adversity;
Postulates, musings, genius, dare;
Emotion, love, thought, will;
Athena, Socrates, fate [and finally], Eureka!!

And I can admonish you, that if you truly, grasp, the true meanings, of these words,
then, I can guarantee you, that whatever, you strive for, or wish for, will be possible;
remember always, the limits, of the mind, lie, with the words, one speaks out,
truthfully, and heartfully, and that all, is possible, with the right words, and right speech.

that, my dear readers, was Greece;
