The Search for Intimacy

The word intimacy, is often, thrown around, to folks, who would happen, to visit, a psychologist, while having, personal problems [especially of the relationship form]. Many, often, are uncomfortable, with the word, Intimacy, as they believe, it, denotes, weakness, in one form, or another; mainly, in the form of exposure.

Intimacy though, is not about, knowing yourself, deeply, as many, believe, but really, seeing yourself, for what, you really are. And the search, for intimacy, is often connected, with seeing, oneself, in three main ways:

1. Personal identity
2. Personal history
3. Nativity

The three, are relatively known, though, not well, spoken about, and are, strongly associated, with our, family identities. The personal identity, is strongly associated, with the mother figure, in our lives. The personal history identity, is strongly associated, with the father figure, in our lives. The Nativity identity, is really all about, the family identity, especially, with regards, to ones siblings.

When we speak, of personal history, it is mainly meant, our complete history, from the perspective, of reincarnation. However, for many today, it really deals, with our history, since, our birth. Our personal history, is in many ways, about, how we would, basically, describe, ourselves. And when we are asked, to describe, ourselves, we are mainly, been asked, to see, ourselves, from the perspective, of the following descriptors [serving as examples], as a basis: Cool, Exquisite, Sophisticated, Elegant, Charming, and other such, aesthetic descriptors, and their derivatives [such as Avante garde or Chic]. In general though, we are been asked, to see, our past history, from the perspective, of these descriptors, so that, we can know, ourselves, personally, and know, what changes, to implement [so as to grow]. And as mentioned, this identity, is strongly associated, with the father figure, in our lives, but, as we grow up, we find, very much, for it, to be strongly, associated, with our facial image.

Personal identity, is very much, an identity, though strongly associated with the mother figure in our lives, is also, very much, associated, with our, skin colors. In general though, it is an identity, strongly about, what we really like doing. Really like, and not, just like, or like. In many cases, one will discover, that what, they really like, doing, and not, just like, or like, appears, to be, heavily, color coded. This means, that, a persons, skin color, determines, what they really like, doing. In general, we can, divide, skin color, into, three main groups: white, brown, and black. One will find, that, white skinned people, generally seek out, experiences, as a determinant, of, what, they really like, doing. Brown skinned people, seek out, memories, while, black skinned people, seek out, testimonials. Experiences, are very much, about, sensing, our environments. Going, to the theatre, buying ice cream, or eating out, are things, that white skinned people, generally, seek out. In short, they are generally, sensing out, their environments, for a good, experience. Memories, are very much, associated, with an American slang word, known as, Vibes. Good vibes really. Brown skinned women, for instance, in general, give out, vibes, as an indicator, of attraction, and interest. Vibes, are often, musical, in nature [somewhat, like an, invitation, to dance]. One will find though, that for, Citizens in America for example, there are not, many, outside venues, to gain memories. In short, what is been said, that Citizens, and a few other, brown skinned folks out there, often, stay at home, due, to there not been, anything, of interest, to do, out there. In other parts, of the world, this is not, really so; in the Middle East, brown skinned folk, often gather together, to smoke, sheesheh. India though, which was once a mecca, for brown entertainment, vibes today, often take, the form of, house parties, discos, and watching movies. What is been said really, is that, there is not, too much, brown entertainment, out there, in the world. For black skinned people, you find, they often seek out, Testimonials. Testimonials, in short, are a form, of bragging really, about, what happened, some time ago, or yesterday. Something great, that another, missed. You find that, in general, that, black skinned people, seek out, attractions, as what, they really like doing. Whether, its going, to the park, to a pub, amusement parks, feeding ducks, horse racing venues, and all the likes, are what, attractions, are all about. Car racing too. And as mentioned before, all these identities, have to do, with our mother figures, though, we find, that as we grow up, it becomes, more, about, being, a respectable person.

We also have, the Nativity identity. The Nativity identity, is very much, about, not only, our, siblings, but very much, a deep connection, to our Land. The Land, one has inhabited, over a long, period of time, and very much, the basis, for an ancestral, identity. In general though, you visit, any Land, and you will find, that some, people, fit into it, and others, don't. In America, Native Americans for instance, fit, into the Land [this means, they fit, into the environment]. You have, to fit, into a Land, to feel, that one, belongs there. If you don't, one always, feels, as an outsider, in what, they may consider, their home. Fitting, into, the Land, is very much, about, feeling strongly, connected, to it, such that, one, believes, they face, no danger. Fitting, into, the Land, has often, been done, via, acts, of desecration [desecrating the body with regards to the Land], and when, one, is strongly, connected, to the Land, they generally feel, lucky; this means, that chance, luck, and opportunity, come easy, their way. Acts of desecration, known, in popular form, include: camping, triathlons, cuisine [foods that only grow in the Land], and seeking out, Nature [connection to native plants and animals]. However though, one can seek out, the culture, of the people, described, as Natives, in ones Land, in order, to feel, connected to it. One finds though, that while, this identity, for many, is associated, with their siblings, it is really, associated, as we grow up, with our, body image [height, weight, shape, and the likes].

In general, as a manner of speaking, developing, these three identities, leads us, to develop, strong connections, with, our selfs [personal history], women in our lives [personal identity], and the Land, we inhabit [nativity].

One finds though, that these identities, have been hampered, or broken, in many parts, of the world, and hence, the view, and belief, that cultures, described, as native, are inferior, and backward.

The term, Western Power, is often, thrown about, by many, without, their knowing, its true, meaning. Western Power, is really about, having, a deep innate sense of power. Something, within one, that makes them, love themselves, deeply, and such people, often, are willing, to die, for their rights, and Life itself. One finds that, Western identities, general in scope, have taken over, in many ways, the above, three identities, in many places, of the world. This Western identity, is really, in three parts: American, British, and Western. An American identity, based on mass media, has attempted, to redefine, for many people, out there, their aesthetic identity; their sense of cool, sophistication, and all the likes. One finds too, that a Western identity, has attempted, to replace, many peoples out there, personal identity [what they really like to do]. In general, how to become, respectable, in nature [for instance, putting on, western clothing, rather than, native garb]. One finds too, that a British identity, has replaced, the concept, of Nativity, with people, seeking out, English/European, beliefs, and thought systems, as a way, to get, things done, or get, lucky. Unless, these identities, are broken, people out there, will always, have, a feeling, of an innate inferiority, to Western nations.

Traditionally though, one finds, that, several cultures, have attempted, to create, wholly new, cultural modes, to define, these, three identities. In America, such cultural modes, are known, as, Pop culture. One of the more, famous, forms, of pop culture, not known, to many, was the, Tango culture, in Argentina. It was a culture, that gave birth, to the Tango dance, and was, very much, based, on three main, cultural influences; African, European, and Urban Argentine. It had, very much, an Aesthetic, that was, African [from the Congo world], a European personal identity, and an Urban Argentine, Nativity identity. African cultures, tend to be, particularly, rich, in Aesthetics. The African, definition, of cool, for instance, heavily, varies, and popular such definitions, of cool, such as, Avant garde, have, their origins, in the Congo world. Avant garde, was made popular, by the French. The European, personal identity, was in many ways, about, becoming, a hustler-lover figure; It was also, very French, in nature. The Nativity identity, was very much, about, being, a street figure, of sorts. In America, you had, two, such, popular, cultures, in the form, of Hip Hop, and Jazz culture. Jazz culture, was very much, African, European and American, in origins. Jazz culture, has a, European aesthetic [English in nature], an African personal identity, and an American, Nativity identity. Hip hop culture, very American, in its origins, is also, very much, divided, into three: Rapping, Breakdance, and Graffiti Art. Rapping, defines, the Hip Hop aesthetic. Rapping, has its origins, in Brit culture, and not, African, as many presume. Graffiti Art, defined, Hip Hops, personal identity, and was, very much, based, on Haitian Art. Breakdance, defined, the Hip Hop, Nativity identity, and ones, connection, to urban areas. It is based, on, North American, dances.
