The Search for Truth

The, Search for Truth, might seem, a, rather, pretentious heading, for this, entry, but, it very well, mirrors, the truth, of it all. In this entry here, the Search for Truth, really, signifies, the, search, for whom, we are, when we, don't know, whom, we really are. This can happen, for various reasons, from trauma, generally feeling lost, or, simply, falling deeply, in love. It is, also, very much, a, preoccupation, for, many people, today, feeling powerless, and simply, not, knowing, how to, live, their lives. Many dream, of very much, being, celebrities, of some sort, not knowing, what, that kind of life, is all, about. We shall present, the search for truth, from, two, viewpoints, and show, how, society, has built, for us, mental prisons, and, false imagery, to live by, making life, for, many, unsatisfactory, and plain, tiresome [a terrible bore].

The Prison Complex:

Many have heard, of the term, the Prison Complex, and often, if not, acquaint it, with, the American, Prison system. In reality though, the, prison complex, very much, has to do, with, the, mental prisons, we, create, for ourselves [or in truth, created by society itself]. These, mental prisons, are, three-fold, in nature: social, political, and familial. They also, very much, have, to do, with, our search, for, Respect. In general, the vast majority, of society, out there, are, in search, for [as life goals], social circles [celebrity in nature], respect [been associated, with, prominent figures], and sex itself. However, it is known, by those, at the top, of, society, that not, everybody, out there, can get, a share, of the, 'pie' [so to speak]. As a result, mental prisons, have, been created, to ensure, that, a good portion [the majority], of humanity, out there, just, simply, never rises. People are made, or chosen, for success/Respect, today, and don't, really work, for it. These mental prisons, are enforced, via, rule, by Anarchy. This means, that, in general, when one, goes out, to seek, Respect/success, they are, prevented, by others, from, doing so. Those, who prevent one, however, might be of surprise, to one, on discovery. Those seeking, social status [social circles], will find, in many ways, it is those, they, consider, 'close contacts' [people they generally associate with], who prevent them, from rising. Those seeking, 'respect & prominence', will discover, that, they are held back, in this, by those, whom, they deal with [often or even through life] [this can even include, school teachers, or even, pastors]. Those, seeking sex, in their lives, will find, they are held back, by those, they, consider, family [oedipus issues at times]. That is how, Anarchy, generally, presents, itself, to, society today.

Popular Imagery:

When one, does not know, whom they really are, they will, find, that, in general, they are, still, somebody; and this somebody, is what we can call, a, problem solver [our Basic Education]. Thats whom, we are [our Basic Education], when we don't know, whom, we really are. In society today though, we find, that, attempting, to solve, problems, is often, associated, with, branding. Brands, in society today, really, represent, problem solvers; and when, most, out there, attempt, to solve, problems, they also, very much, attempt, to associate [often not knowingly], with a, brand: from Nike, to Puma, to Gucci. There are many, out there, who think, they can, outrun, the police [on foot, with Nikes on]. However, when seeking, Respect, most, are unaware really, of, the kind, of, problems, they will meet. The kind, of, problems, we meet, in our lives, are, heavily today, associated, with, Popular Imagery, in the media. Personal problems that is; problems we face, in our, everyday, lives. Popular Imagery [people really], we read about, and, identify with [for some reason], without, knowing really, that, doing so, has us, somewhat, connected, to them; this is, difficult, to explain, but, not. In general, what it means, is that, if you, identify, with someone, strongly, via, the media for instnace, you eventually, begin, to experience, the same, moods [and feelings], as they do. These moods [and feelings], are also, very much, associated, with our, problem solving selfs [and personal problems]. When someone, asks you, 'how do you feel today?!!', they are, generally, asking you, how, you feel, about yourself, as a, problem solver. Thats what, moods, really, are about.

However, this gets, more, complicated, and what, will be, presented below, might, surprise, and even, astonish some, as, the, personal problems, one faces, in, their daily lives [and lives], are, very much, similar, to those, faced, by, Popular Imagery, they identify with. These, Popular Imagery, as, explained before, also, determine, how, we generally feel.

We shall attempt, to provide, by, continent, the Popular Imagery, many, in different parts, of, the world, strongly, identify with [knowingly or not knowingly]. These, Popular Imagery, are the, basis, of, Generational divides, but, in many cases, are often, similar, to past, generations. In short really, the difference, between, Generations, is in, the problems, they face, and how, they choose, to solve them.

North America: Michael Jackson, Pee Wee Herman, He-man

The three, above, might surprise, many, as mentioned, before, but most, in, North America, will be, surprised, to learn, that, their moods, and general feelings, are just, like, those, of the, Popular Imagery, presented, above, and that, they also, very much, experience, the same, personal problems, as they do. Those wishing, in NA, to chase, social status, will find, they very, much, experience life, like, Michael Jackson. Those having, Political ambitions, will find, their life, similar, to that, of, Pee Wee Herman. Those seeking, to chase, sex, will find, they experience, life, very much, like He-man.

South America: Formula One racer, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Pele

Social status, political ambitions, and sex, respectively. These are, the three, Popular Imagery, that, South Americans, strongly, identify with, and, very much, feel like. In general, they face, the same, personal problems, as the three above, do.

Europe: The Beatles, Football players, Tennis players

Social status, political ambitions, and sex, respectively. In Europe, politics and football, are intimately, intertwined.

Africa: P. Diddy, Mike Tyson, Samuel. L. Jackson

Social status, political ambitions, and sex respectively. African society, can be interesting, when done right.

East Asia: Bruce Lee, Mr. Miyagi, Yoko Ono

Social status, political ambitions, and sex, respectively. Problems, faced by, East Asian, politicians, are similar, to those, seen, in the, Karate Kid, series, with, Mr. Miyagi. How, all this, Popular Imagery, catches on, is not, really known.

Southeast Asia: Mowgli, Gandhi, Amitabh Bachchan

Middle East: Aladdin, Shabba Doo [no relation to Scooby], Sinbad

One should not, be surprised, by, all this, as, unknown, to many, media, often has, a, bigger impact, on, people [via cult followings], than, Media. Breakdancing, was once, very, popular, in, Africa [amongst browns], and, the Middle East. This does not, mean, that, Middle Easterners, are, breakdancers, only that, they, experience life, politically, as, Shabba Doo, does, in the, Breakdance series.

One should, also, realize, that, these, Popular Imagery, are, really a, continuation, of, past, such, Imagery, and just, build up, from, previous generations. Many times, this is all, genetically, encoded [parents generally passing on, their problems/culture, to their kids].

The Iconoclast:

The Iconoclast, can be said, in many ways, to represent, past, Imagery, that, people, identified with. In general, for those, whom, did not know, whom, they really were [or, when one, set out, to solve, a personal problem], they generally, associated, with, certain figures [flambouyant in nature]. These figures, generally, determined, how, they felt. However though, one finds, that, they may, feel, very much, like, the environments, they live in [how they feel about life]. These environments, are, heavily influenced, today, by, Popular Imagery [especially the homes]. In general though, in, the past, many, felt about, life, in a similar, manner, to what, some, call, totemic animals. Totemic animals [different from totems], generally ascribe, to us, the, virtues, we, generally possess. Virtues, we need, when, we set out, to, solve, a problem. Different regions, of the world, had, different, 'Iconoclasts'.

North America: Billy Budd (Eagle)

In North America, people, have, traditionally, experienced life [in the general sense], in a, similar manner, to, Billy Budd. This is, with, regards, to problem solving [Basic Education * personal problems], and not, 'touching moments' ['Touching moments' associated with, 'whom we really are']. The problems, faced, by Billy Budd, are those, North Americans, have faced [socially, politically, and family], traditionally. The Eagle too, was, a source, of, virtue, for, North Americans, especially, with, regards to, tenacity.

South America: The Earl (Woodpecker)

The Earl, is, a title, known, to many, but really, one, of, South American, origins. Earls, are kind of, popular today, in, politics, as many, political figures, worldwide, tend to, very much, work, like them. Earls, are simply, people, who listen, to, anothers, problems, and then, attempt, to solve them. In general, South Americans, generally face, the same, problems [socially, politically and family], that Earls, mainly, listen to. The Woodpecker, was traditionally, a source, of virtue, for, South Americans, and is, in many ways, the, 'national bird', of, South America.

Europe: The Green Knight (Falcon)

The Green Knight, is, a Knight, seen, in, Arthurian lore. He is, also, a Knight, that, very much, faces, the same, social, political, and family, problems, that, Europeans, usually face. The Falcon, too, is a, source, of, virtue, for Europeans, attempting, to solve, problems, out there. In general though, green characters, seen, in, European folklore, or, mythology, tend to, represent, the, everyday, problems, that, Europeans face. This also, very much, includes, the, Green Hornet.

Africa: The African Warrior (Buffalo)

In African cultures, amongst all peoples really [even the most backward], one finds, that, one, ubiquitous figure, is seen, in all of them: the African Warrior. And most, Africans, will find, that, they face, similar problems [personal problems that is], as, African Warriors, in, African folklore, face. The most, pervasive, of these, African warriors, has been, Shaka Zulu. The story, of, Shaka Zulu, as told, in, E.A Ritters, novel, is really, mythic, in nature, and does not, give, an account, of, Shakas life. However, Africans, reading it, will find, that, they face, the same, social, political, and family, problems, as the, mythic Shaka, does. Family murders, are very, common, in, African culture. The Buffalo, is also, an, animal, that has been, associated, with, African Warriors, from, past times; this very much, also, includes, accounts, of, Africans, fighting in, the American, Civil war, as documented, by, Bob Marley, in, 'Buffalo soldier'.

Southeast Asia: Lord Rama (Tiger)

Southeast Asians, generally face, the same, personal problems, as, Lord Rama, in, Indian sacred history. This means, that, the personal problems, that, any given Indian [southeast Asian really], has, at this moment, are, very much, the same, as those, Lord Rama, generally, faces. The Tiger, has also, very much, been, a, symbol, of, virtue [especially courage], in, Southeast Asian lore.

East Asia: The Archer (Dragon)

East Asians, in general, very much, have, the same problems, on, a daily basis, as those, faced, by, famous, Archer figures, in Asian history. Archer figures, are, especially prominent, in, Chinese lore, and, it is here, that, one sees, the heavy influence, of, Chinese culture, on, the rest, of, Asia [Lord Rama, is also, very much, an Archer, but not]. Archers, tend to be, solitary figures, very much, facing, life, on their own, and solving, their problems, personally. This might, surprise many, who, have often, believed, East Asian, cultures, to be, very communal based, when, it comes, to, problem solving. The personal problems, that, East Asians, generally face, tend, to be, those, heavily based, on, timing. The Dragon, as a, symbol, of virtue, might be, problematic, to many, but, Dragons, in, Asian cultures, are very, symbolic in nature, and their, imagery, is seen, as, a source, of power.

Middle East: Antar (Hawk)

The difference, between, the Hawk, Falcon, and, Eagle, is that, the Hawk, is mainly, fire, the Falcon water, and the Eagle, air.

In all though, the reason, for, having, the Iconoclast, in our lives, is so that, we may, have, an, expansive view, of life, itself. Most people, live, their whole lives, in, small prisons, dictated, by, the search, for Respect, Anarchy, and, Popular Imagery [in society today]. Totemic animals too, help us, be able, to see, the world, as, being, very much, a home, of sorts, as, identifying, with them [feeling like them really], helps us, be able, to, feel, at home, in just about, any place, out there. Most, out there, only, feel at home [safe], in their homes and workplaces. There is a, huge, world, out there, most, know nothing, about [with the exception of media falseties], and, the Indian, for instance, who seeks, to save, money, to visit, London, or, NY, believing them, to be, the only, two, great Cities, in the world, would miss, experiencing, the unique, experience, of having, visited, the Prague [Many, in the English speaking world, do not, dare, transverse, the non-English, speaking world].
