Stages of Life

Living Life, has become, a, difficult task, for many, out there. They just, don't know, what to do, with it, especially, after, attaining, success. It seems, meaningless. Success for many, differs, in meaning. For some, its all about, the, attainment, of money; for others, it can, even, simply, involve, migrating, to America, and simply, living there. Thats what dreams, are made of, for many, out there, today.

In many ways, Life, can be, said, to be a journey, not associated, with, gaining success [or Making It], but with, experiencing growth. Growth here, really means, growth, in ones, expression, and, communications skills. In short really, in, past times, the concept, of success, was more, highly, defined, that it is, today, as, civilization, had in, many ways, advanced, from, the simple belief, in, accumulating, money. People sought, other successes, with money, being, included, in the package.

The Stages of Life, in many ways, are, accompanied, by a, form, of, test, trial, or tribulation. All these, helped, develop, ones, expression, and, communication skills. These Stages, varied, in number, and also, very much, varied, with region, around, the world. There are about, 5, of these, Stages of Life, commonly known, around, the world: Egyptian, Indian, African, American, and Japanese. These are, the 5, famous, Life paths, which, people today, live by [in one way or another], and in, general, make, these people, noticeable [to others] culturally [they just seem interesting culturally (especially as seen in movies)]. The Life path, one chooses, to live by, also, very much, influences, the work, they do, where, they seek to live, and even, whom, they find attractive. In many ways, in general, how, they see life itself [as wonderful, crazy, or even, a bore]. What differentiates, women, from men, today [who in many ways live separate lives], is that, women, still go through, these Stages of Life, in one way, or another, while, taking men, along, with them [and hence the belief by men, they need women, in their lives].

We shall go, through now, some, of these, Life paths, and seek, to explain them, in a, manner, that suggests, understanding, by the masses.

Egyptian: Sacraments

The Egyptian Life path [later borrowed by the Europeans], involved, living Life, around, the sacraments. There are about, 7, of these, sacraments known, and today, very much too, form, the foundation, of the difference, seen, between, Catholicism, and other, forms, of, Christianity. These sacraments [and the stages of life they dictate], involve, a trial, test, and tribulation, of sort. The whole goal, with them, is to, overcome, barriers [psychological in nature], that prevent one, from, experiencing growth [in the form of, expression, and communication]. These 7 sacraments, are:

1. Baptism
2. Penance
3. Holy Eucharist
4. Confirmation
5. Matrimony
6. Anointing of the Sick
7. Holy Orders

The whole goal, is to live, a life, based around these sacraments [and not just receive them]. In general, the sacraments, themselves, should be, seen, as, initiatory rites, to enable, one, to start, living, a whole new life [based on entering a new stage of life]. Anointing of the Sick, is in, many ways, associated, with, giving back, to society, or life itself.

The (psychological) barriers [test, trial, tribulation], seen, with these, sacraments, are usually, supposed, to be, experienced, in pairs. Meaning, two folks, out there, overcome them, in, the form of, pairs. At the end, of each, Stage, each pair, should have, sought, to become, very much, like, two hearts (seeking understanding) [Two hearts, living, just one life -- Phil Collins]. This can, in many ways, have, one person, associated, with very many, other people.

Indian: Chakras

The Indian Life path [also seen in the Middle East], involves, very much, overcoming, limitations. And these limitations, one is supposed, to overcome, are very much, associated, with, the Chakras. These Chakras, are said, to number, 8, in total; they are:

1. Root Chakra
2. Sacral Chakra
3. Solar Plexus Chakra
4. Heart Chakra
5. Throat Chakra
6. Third Eye Chakra
7. Crown Chakra

The limitations [taking the form of trial, test or tribulation], very much, involve, escaping, from what, hold us back. In attempting to grow, one will find, that, limitations [often in the form of addictions], hold one back, from growing, and succeeding, in life. Those, at the Root Chakra, might, for instance, never have, outgrown, being pampered, by their mothers. Those, at the, Sacral Chakra, might, for instance, never have, overgrown, a masturbation addiction. Those, at the, Solar Plexus Chakra, might, never have, overcome, being rejected, by a girl, or even, their fathers.

In many ways, this Life path, is also, very much, lived, in pairs. People one, is intimate with [from limitations faced & seeking trust/honour], and if one, transverses, through life, with them, they become, what, they call, kins [or as they call them, in bollywood: blood brothers]. A whole new family [separate from that, they are born into, and in many ways, holds them down], is born.

African: Self-Growth

The African Life path, is in many ways, associated, by many, with, tribal living. It is, in many ways, a Life path, associated, with, gaining maturity. Otherwise, one finds, that those, who follow, this Life path, remain, very much, like, kids [and children (if not buffoons)], on having, failed, to progress, through it, naturally. This Life path, has only, three stages, to it:

1. Childhood
2. Adulthood
3. Elderhood

Each stage, is very much, associated, with, a dream, of sorts. Childhood, is associated, very much, with, ancestral spirits, and formulating, a dream, one wishes, to fulfill. In many ways, its a life [stage really], guided, by an, Ancestral spirit [preparation for life]. Adulthood, follows, and is, very much, associated, with becoming, an, intelligent being. It is here, that, Africans, mainly worshiped, African gods, who are, very much, associated, with, intelligence issues. Elderhood, is, all about, gaining, an understanding, of, a life lived [why it transpired as such, and how, they could have done it, better]. In many ways, the form, of trial, tribulation, and test, seen, with this, Life path, is very much, what, they call, problems [like have girl problems]. Problems [quagmires been one of them], are a form, of problem, which, do not, have, a specific, solution, to them. One, has to analyze them [break them down], and seek, to fully understand, the nature, of the problem [and not its participants really]. In many ways, each stage, of this Life path, is, associated, with becoming, a, combatant, spearman, and saintly (person) respectively [at the end of Childhood, one should be, a suitable, combatant for instance]. African wrestling, differs, from, other forms, of wrestling, as it is, very much, about, problems. This Life path, can also, be, transversed, with another [pair], but is mainly, done, with a group of friends [and sometimes, including an elder (as the other)]. The whole goal, of this, is to seek, realization, of the nature, of problems, and very much, their, own nature. When this is done, the group of friends [or pair with elder], become, very much, what, they call, soulmates.

American: Vices

The American Life path, is very much, associated, with what, they call, the Seven Vices. These, Seven Vices, are heavily, oriented, around, the physical body, and in, many ways, this Life path, is all about, overcoming, the self (in many ways, physical identities). A Life path really, based on, people, not liking, very much, how, they look, and wishing, to look better [via plastic surgery, or exercise], but in, reality, is really, all about, overcoming, the, 7 vices, and in the end, looking, angel like. There are 7, of these, Stages, each not, very well, formally defined, but really made, popular, via, the movies.

1. Infancy - Gluttony
2. Childhood - Greed
3. Middle Childhood - Sloth
4. Adolescence - Pride
5. Young Adulthood - Wrath
6. Adulthood - Lust
7. Old Age - Envy

In many ways, these stages, are, also, very much, associated, with, Freuds, 5 stages, of, psycho-sexual, development. In many ways too, they are just, not about, overcoming, the, 7 vices, but also, very much, as mentioned before, overcoming, identities (physical), imposed on one, by others [loser, clown, retard, and the likes]. In many ways too, this Life path, involves, one seeing, themselves, as they, really are, and not, projecting, their issues [problems and insecurities], onto, others, as in the case, of the bully. Seeing oneself, as they, really are, and dealing, with any, shortcomings. This path, is also, very much, transversed, with a pair, or even, simply, what they call, buddies. At the end, of it all, the pair/buddies, should very much, be, what they call, kinsmen [kinsmen, are people, who have, a similar, physical look].

Japanese: Torments

The Japanese Life path, a more, recent development [as they previously used, the Indian], is very much, based, on, torments, in life. Japanese Gods are different, from others, out there, in that, they heavily, torment one, in an, attempt, to try and make them, see, reality, as clear, as possible. It is also, a Life path, associated, with living, a life, with nothing much, of interest, going on. This Life path, also, has three, stages, and each stage, is very much, associated, with going, through, certain torments, and coming out, victorious; in many ways, about, overcoming, limits [as in attempting, to hold, ones breathe, under a pool]. The three stages, seen here, are:

1. Childhood
2. Adulthood
3. Elderhood

Childhood, is very much, associated, with torments, associated, with, physical pain. Japanese Kids, undergo, trial [of all kind], to help them, learn, how to, overcome, physical pain. Adulthood, is associated, with, torments, based on, mental suffering. In general, Japanese Adults, undergo, test [of all sort], to teach them, to overcome, all forms, of, mental distress [including Japanese exams]. Elderhood, is associated, with torments, based on, death itself. Death here, has many, meanings, and can, also, include, alienation, from others. In general, Japanese Elders, undergo, tribulation [of all forms], to teach them, to overcome, attachments, of all sorts. In many ways, Japanese Life, is lived, in a, group [making it hard to befriend or marry, Japanese people]. At the end, of each, stage, the whole goal, in many ways, is to, develop, what they call, a, 'band of brothers'. Japanese people, are put, in large, groups, which, undergo, various torments, with, smaller groups, forming, based on successes.

Many people, around the world, tend to, believe, they are similar, to others, when they are not. A good example, being, Italians, and, Italians in America. Italians, have traditionally, followed, the Indian Life path, while, Italians in America, have traditionally followed, the American Life path. As said before, the Indian Life path, is what, makes, Middle Easterners, similar, to, Southeast Asians. Americans, are unique, to themselves, while, South Americans and Europeans, have, traditionally, followed, the Egyptian Life path. We do though, today, have, a unique life path, associated, with, western culture, and very much, about, school, university, work, marriage, celebrating life, and death, which is actually, taken, from, Chinese culture, and in, many ways, makes, Western culture, similar, to, Chinese culture. This life path, is also, seen, in, most, of, East Asia. You finally have, the Caribbean, a region, where no, life path, really exists, and people, simply, work, and entertain, themselves [and in many ways, why, Caribbeans, are backward, by nature]. This life path, is also, very much, seen, in Canada.

Some of these, Life paths, like, the Egyptian, and Indian, can be lived, by, associating oneself, with, historical figures, and even, spirits.
