Inspiration: the search for meaning

Most people, out there, are today, kinda bored stiff, with life. They find, no meaning in it, really. They have, nothing, to live for, as they believe, that just about anything, to be done, in the world, has already been done, and even, automated. Most people, are really today, searching, for a reason, to even, get out of bed, every morning; they need inspiration, to become, something, bigger, than what they are, at the moment, and TV, newspapers, and magazines too, don't seem, to have, the answer. Neither does the bible. The goal here, of this entry, is to provide, some clues, on how one, can go about, being inspired, to live life, by looking, at the past, and how, people then, inspired themselves, to live life.

Italy: Integrity

In old Italy, the search for inspiration, began, by an attempt, to make oneself, look different, and unique, from others. Thats kinda how, Italians, came to be, the way, they are. They have, a unique look, and this look, was the basis, of finding, inspiration, in their lives. Just by looking different, and unique, from others, you kinda, started to believe, that you were destined, for greatness, in one way, or another. Two, major identifiers, of Italians, have been, their hair, and bodies. They tried, to make them, look, pretty unique. The culture, of constantly exercising, so as to acquire, a certain shape, often lean, and taking measurements, of body parts, to see, if they meet those, of Greek gods, has Italian origins, and not German, as many believe. One of the ways, Italians, created unique bodies, was not only by eating unique food (raw egg diet), but by certain practises, like Isometrics (Italian yoga), and even, constantly, acting unique, always. The culture, of practising, ones dance moves, before the mirror, has Italians origins. When one starts, to look different, and unique, one finds, they are inspired, to create, Art works, of the highest integrity; and thats, kinda what, Italians, did in the old days: create Art works, of the highest integrity. Italy of old, was a land, of a million artists, but only, a handful, are known today, to most: Michelangelo, Donatello, Raphael, Italian food, Italian musical instruments (Ibanez), Italian fashion, and so on.

France: Savviness

In France, the search for inspiration, always began, with how, people dressed. The Musketeers, were not, the best dressed people, in France, as many believe. People dressed, intelligently. The end sought, by many French people, was to become, a Theorist, of one kind, or another. Being a Theorist, is all about, coming up, with theories, or theorems, that attempt, to revolutionize, any segment of life, from business, to mathematics, to politics. The main goal, of dressing intelligently, and well, is so as, not to identify, with other people, and end up, thinking, like them. Ones clothes, tend to influence, how one feels, about life, and themselves.

Spain: Idealism

In Spain, inspiration, was garnered, by engaging, in Religious Arts. People read, religious works, listened, to religious music, and even, frequently visited, religious spots, like Basilicas, and Chapels. People, simply engaged, in religious art, and often then, became idealists. They sought, to bring about change, when society, began to decay. It is they, who gave rise, to social activism, and social services, in an attempt, to make society, function better.

England: Idealistic

In England, the search for inspiration, often began, with ones pals. Ones pals, included, a group, of both men and women, whom one, interacted with, oftenly, and often exposed, themselves, too. People, basically, they spoke about, their problems, and dreams too. If one, did not have, such pals, life felt meaningless. This way, of seeking inspiration, is kinda interesting. It all begins, with one, telling their pals, about their dreams, and their pals, kind of, urging them on. This happens, until, the person, decides, to chase their dreams. Their dreams, are often idealistic (very idea full), and often deal, with societal problems: problems, that are disruptive, to society e.g. traffic jams, poor car parts (leading to frequent breakdowns), and the likes. This path, was interesting, in its own way, as such because, when one started succeeding, one would find, that their pals, kinda, abandoned them. Some jealousy arose. They would basically, find, that though, they were succeeding, their social life, would begin, to break down. This, also very much, included, family, and marriages. People struggled, to keep everything, stable and intact, while still, managing, their endeavour, or risk, having everything, in their lives, collapse. In all, it was very much, a kind of game, to keep everything, working well.

Germany: Boldness

In Germany, the search for inspiration, actually began, with food. It is the Germans, that live, for good food. Once up early, they are off, to the breakfast table, for a good meal. The food, they eat, leaves them, feeling good, about themselves, and kind of, acting bold. The end resulting, from all this, is that most Germans, are inspired, to be Philosophers. Philosophers, are people, who really, attempt, to solve, technical, problems. They see, how things, could be smoother, and just more, efficient.

Austria: Signs and Symbols

In Austria, the search for inspiration, began, with one, associating themselves, with one, or more, spiritual signs or symbols. By basically, meditating, on these signs or symbols, one was inspired, with a religious ideal. Such people, often became, Creationists, and creationists, often are responsible, for totally, revolutionizing, a society, by transforming it, based on religion. If a society, has hope, at the center of its existence, a creationist, would turn it around, to have faith, at the center, of it all. Associating oneself, with symbols or signs, often meant, that one, was more or less, isolated, from others, and saw them, from more or less, a dimensional perspective.

While discovering, inspiration, in ones life, is enough, to get one started, there is still, another angle, to all this. It has to do, with motivation. Before one is inspired, one has to be, basically motivated, to do, something. Motivation, is a rather well known, topic, and more spoken about, than inspiration. Today, most people, look at the world, as being, either stupid, or not stupid. The problem, with looking, at the world this way, is that one is filled, with an air, of despair. It is a very, basic, way, of looking, at the world, one which, monkeys, and other primates, use. One has to rise, above this, to be motivated, to do something. This involves, looking at the world, from a different perspective. In Africa, it is best, to look at the world, as being crazy, or not crazy. If one looks, at Africa, in this way, things begin to make sense, and one, is actually motivated, to live. In the Middle East, one should attempt, to look at their world, as being mad, or not mad. In North America, its about it, being nuts, or not nuts. Being nuts, is about, not caring, about others. In South America, motivation begins, with looking at things, as being nutty, or not nutty. This really means, caring, or not caring, for oneself. In Europe, one should look at the world, as being insane, or not insane. Europeans, are the kind, not to care about, themselves, or others, and often, become atheists, due to having, a God complex. In Asia, one should look at things, as being silly, or not silly, so as to be motivated, to live life. Becoming motivated, is very much, a religious goal. Today, it can be done, by meditating, on ones life, and their world. This really means, attempting to see, everything, as being crazy or not crazy, as an example. Another way, is to read, what they call, religious sources. The Upanishads, are an example, of religious sources. They are best for Asia, as they have one, seeing their world, as being silly, or not silly.
